WGBH pioneered closed captioning for audiences who are deaf or hard-of-hearing. Every year MAG provides access to thousands of hours of live and taped broadcast and cable television programs, streaming content, theatrical movie releases, documentaries, music videos, web videos, museums, and attractions. MAG works closely with The Carl and Ruth Shapiro Family National Center for Accessible Media (NCAM) in understanding FCC policies and rulings pertaining to the local and national deaf and hard of hearing community.
