Clinical Trial Cooperative Agreements (U01, U34)

A clinical trial is a research study in which one or more human subjects are prospectively assigned to one or more interventions (which may include placebo or other control) to evaluate the effects of those interventions on biomedical or health-related outcomes.

Please contact Steven Hirschfeld, M.D., Ph.D. before you submit an application. The cooperative agreement U01 and U34 mechanisms enable Dr. Hirschfeld to serve as project collaborator, providing detailed assistance before and after application submission.

See Concept Proposal for NIDCD Clinical Trials for more information.
