Formerly Telecommunications for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Inc., TDIforAccess, Inc., or TDI, is a national consumer-advocacy, public policy nonprofit organization advancing equitable access to communications, media, and information technologies on behalf of the 48 million deaf and hard-of-hearing Americans, including people experiencing sensory, cognitive, or other communication disabilities. TDI hosts a biennial conference and Training Institute where industry representatives, government officials, and consumers interact to keep up on accessibility trends in technology. TDI also publishes the Blue Book, a worldwide directory listing of businesses, schools, organizations, and government agencies with a vested interest in the deaf and hard of hearing community.
