Council for Exceptional Children

The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is the largest professional organization dedicated to improving the educational success of individuals with disabilities or gifts. CEC advocates for appropriate government policies, sets professional standards, provides professional development, advocates for underserved individuals with exceptionalities, and helps professionals obtain conditions and resources for effective professional practice.
