Founded in 1868, CEASD is committed to promoting excellence within a continuum of equitable educational opportunities for children and adults who are deaf or hard-of-hearing. At the national level, CEASD serves as an advocate for the deaf and hard-of-hearing with governmental bodies that establish educational policy and implement federal legislation.
