NIDCD Scientist Katie Kindt Receives Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE)

Katie Kindt, Ph.D., acting chief of the NIDCD's Section on Sensory Cell Development and Function, received a Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) on May 5. This award is the highest honor bestowed by the federal government on scientists and engineers who are in the early stages of their careers. Dr. Kindt was among 20 other scientists supported by the NIH to receive this award from President Obama in a White House Ceremony.
