Quota International, founded in 1919, is a volunteer service organization with clubs in North and South America, the Caribbean, the South Pacific, Southeast Asia, and Europe. Under the motto of “We Share,” Quota members perform activities that meet the special needs of people in their communities. Quota members are known especially for service to disadvantaged women and children and individuals who are deaf, hard-of-hearing, and speech impaired. Quota clubs provide equipment, treatment, programs, vocational training, and education related to speech and hearing and promote hearing protection through a Healthy Hearing Ear Plugs campaign.
