Robert J. Wenthold Memorial Lecture

This annual lecture honors the memory of Robert J. Wenthold, Ph.D., who passed away on October 30, 2009. Dr. Wenthold was an extraordinary scientist, mentor, and administrator within the NIDCD. Dr. Wenthold served as the NIDCD’s scientific director from 1998 through 2008, and he was a vital force in helping to build the NIDCD intramural program’s strong research foundation in such areas as genetics, molecular and developmental biology, computational modeling, and brain imaging.
