NIDCD Scientists Take Part in Trans-NIH Effort to Help Two Young Tanzanians

NIDCD clinical scientists played a central role in a trans-NIH effort to help two young boys from Tanzania with xeroderma pigmentosum, or XP, a rare genetic disease that causes a person to be extremely sensitive to harmful UV radiation, such as sunlight.
