The Center on Human Policy (CHP) is a Syracuse University-based policy, research, and advocacy organization involved in the national movement to ensure the rights of people with disabilities. The HEATH Resource Center is an online clearinghouse on postsecondary education for individuals with disabilities. Since 2000, the HEATH Resource Center has served as a national clearinghouse on postsecondary education for individuals with disabilities, managed by the George Washington University Graduate School of Education and Human Development. Now, the HSC Foundation has partnered with the George Washington University to expand the content of this resource and to designate it as the official resource site of the HSC Foundation's National Youth Transitions Center.

The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy. JAN is an information and consulting service that provides users with individualized solutions for workplace accommodations. JAN also provides information regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Rehabilitation Act, and other disability-related legislation. In addition, JAN consultants have access to a vast network of resources, organizations, support groups, government agencies, and more that can provide assistance to persons with disabilities. Pepnet2 (pn2) recognizes the full range of postsecondary education and training options available for individuals who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, including those with co-occurring disabilities, and strives to enhance the capacity of those institutions to appropriately serve this diverse student population. Pn2 is a national collaboration of professionals with expertise in a broad array of content areas and a variety of environments, including research, technology, personnel development, media production, and technical assistance. Our mission and the focus of our resources is to increase the education, career, and lifetime choices available to individuals who are deaf or hard-of- hearing. Our resources include live, one-on-one assistance in a variety of communication modes, in-person and online training, and materials that are downloadable, printable or available as hard copies. The Stuttering Foundation (SFA) provides resources, services, and support to individuals who stutter, their families, and professionals who serve them. SFA offers comprehensive, up-to-date information on stuttering through its publications, workshops, and conferences. In addition, SFA supports research into the causes of stuttering. The foundation’s worldwide referral list provides names of speechlanguage pathologists who specialize in stuttering treatment. SFA sponsors the annual National Stuttering Awareness Week the second week of May and supports International Stuttering Awareness Day, October 22. Many materials are free online and available in Spanish, French, and other languages. SFA also provides information through its Spanish-language website, www.tartamudez.org.

Telecommunications for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Inc., (TDI) is a consumer advocacy organization that provides leadership in achieving equal access to telecommunications, media, and information technologies for the communication needs of 48 million Americans who are deaf and hard-of-hearing every day and during emergencies. Description:
The U.S. Access Board is an independent federal agency that promotes equality for people with disabilities through leadership in accessible design. The board develops guidelines and standards under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other federal laws that address access to the built environment, transportation, communication, and information technology. In addition, the board enforces accessibility standards covering federally funded facilities and promotes accessibility through public outreach, technical assistance, training, published guidance, and research. Copies of all board guidelines and standards are available free from the board, including through its website, in a variety of formats. The board also publishes a host of guidance materials on its design requirements and other aspects of accessible design for professional, consumer, and general audiences.
